This codebase was created to recreate the SPC UA maps using archived and realtime data. I decided to make these as I really liked the comprehensive information these maps show (e.g., sounding parameters, 12-hour trends, dewpoint depression). I also decided to make them in color to help make the values and spacial trends easier to identify. I have used this code in a variety of contexts such as in research and educational case studies.
